Sharon Caldwell

Sharon Caldwell is the lead consultant at Real Learning, with nearly 40 years of experience in Education generally, 25 of which are in Montessori and Democratic School contexts. She founded and headed a Montessori School and has worked as a Senior Consultant for the Montessori Foundation.

She supported schools internationally and co-taught on their ground-breaking online programme Building a World-Class Montessori School. She holds an LMC Certificate (3-6), an AMI/NAMTA Adolescent Orientation Certificate and an AMI International Diploma for 6 – 12, in addition to a BA majoring in History and Geography, BA Hons (History) and a Post-Graduate Higher Education Diploma (Accounting and History).

We understand that every school and every person is unique and requires individualised attention to thrive. Our team of experts specialises in providing customised solutions to help your school and your practice improve while maintaining your unique character and ethos.

We offer various services designed to support the Montessori philosophy, including Leadership Support and Development for Heads of School and School Boards, Professional Development for Faculty, Coaching for Heads and Faculty, Whole School Assessment and Improvement Strategies, and much more. Our team of Montessori-trained professionals will work with you to create a personalised plan that addresses your school’s specific needs and goals.

In addition to our consulting services, we offer a range of online and live workshops and courses for faculty, as well as a variety of talks and workshops for parents that are tailored to the needs of anyone interested in Montessori. Our goal is to empower your faculty, parents, students, and self with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive within the Montessori community.

Real learning is dedicated to providing personalised mentorship to help Montessori schools thrive. We work with each school individually to understand their unique needs and goals and provide customised solutions that support their success.

Real-Learning has been a game changer for us. Teachers feel refreshed, inspired, built up and encouraged. We’re stripping away distraction and immersing ourselves in rich, authentic Montessori. We feel like we can conquer the world and make a difference again.
I can’t find the words to express how dynamic and simply wonderful it is to have mentors in our midst who have training and experience in an authentic Montessori approach for 6-12 environment meeting the developmental needs of the second plane child. 🙏🏽🌹🌈
